About Us
Who We Are
Awesome Prospect was founded by Jimmy Prosser, a writer and producer of film, television and streaming media projects. His recent screenplay, NOTEWORTHY, won several awards, including Best Original Screenplay Short, London Independent Film Awards (2018); Best Screenplay (Short), Los Angeles Independent Film Festival (2017); and Best Screenplay, Top Shorts Film Festival (2017). His animated comedy pilot, FLOP & RAGE, was a Finalist at the Filmmatic Screenplay Awards (2017) and Semi-Finalist & Official Selection at the Austin Revolution Film Festival (2017).
Jimmy is a graduate of New York University's (NYU) Tisch School of the Arts, Maurice Kanbar Institute of Film and Television (BFA Spring 2018), where his studies focused on Dramatic Writing and Producing. Currently, he is a Development Intern with DIGA Studios, a television development and production company founded by former MTV President Tony DiSanto. Jimmy's prior industry experience includes working as a Development Intern in Bob Weinstein's office at The Weinstein Company (Dimension Films) and at Paramount Pictures in the office of Marc Evans, former President of the Motion Picture Group.

Awesome Prospect's mission is to create, develop and produce compelling cutting edge drama and comedy content for film, television and streaming media.
Our audience is young and intelligent, and craves UNIQUE stories and experiences. We are currently developing several projects for future production. Most importantly, we are committed to developing projects that embrace NEW stories with talented new writers, actors and directors. Surprise us!
